Youth Ministries

The Sunday evening youth fellowship enjoyed a lot of fun activities in December, including taking part in the Zoom Christmas Play (still available for viewing on Facebook and our web site; hosting a socially distant Santa visit where 13 children were able to give Santa their wish lists and have a photo taken with him; and a Christmas Party with lots of games and fellowship in the shelter.

In January they'll resume meeting by Zoom as directed by our Bishop. Links for all Zoom meeting will be sent directly to families by Pam Heath.  If interested and you do not receive a link by Saturday evening, contact her at

The youth hosted a Socially Distant Visit with Santa event in December.  The children had fun giving Santa their wish lists and having their photos taken with jolly old elf.

The youth participated in the "virtual" 2020 Hike for Hunger to benefit Heart+Hand Ministries.  They walked several laps around the church parking lot and raised over $200.

Our youth joined the Children's Choir to present the Christmas program GOD'S GIFT TO US during the Dec. 15 worship service.

Our youth hosted a drive-thru collections event in August 2020.  Persons wishing to donate food items for Covenant House, cookies for Manna Meal, or school supplies for PAAC who cannot drop off during the limited hours the church is open took advantage of this event.

The youth solved "Poe's Lament" at a local escape room with time to spare.  Escape room outings is just one of the fun activities our youth enjoy every few weeks.
