Each Sunday we will continue to have Facebook Live Streaming of our 10:00am worship.  This will be posted at later that day and remain on Facebook throughout the week.   Our goal is to begin gathering for worship AND  continue our Facebook Live Streaming, beginning Sunday, May 31.  More details will come out about this in the next couple of weeks.  We do know we will use social distancing with couples and families able to sit close together; masks to be worn in the building (this will be mandatory per CDC and WVUMC guidelines with a few masks available for loan for anyone without access to one); singing by the band only along with an abbreviated 30-40 minute service.  Social distancing will mean that we will limit our capacity in the sanctuary  to approximately 80 seats.  We also are considering a small overflow area which would utilize social spacing.  Per the directions of our Bishop we do have a task force developing the details concerning this and other future gatherings.   More details to come!

Help needed with medical masks:  Go to to see how to make medical masks.  These can be dropped off at front entrance to Elizabeth Memorial Sunday-Friday 9:00am-1:00pm.

We continue our hiking outings  Sundays at 1:00pm. We'll meet at Elizabeth Memorial parking lot to head to local trail or neighborhood for social distancing walking.  Hope to see you there.

Bible Study will begin again Wednesday, May 20 at 10:00am.  We anticipate meeting in the Shelter and will have measured social spacing.  We encourage participants to bring their own lawn chairs.   The conversation will be based on Genesis 21:1-34 "A Son is Born; a Son is Driven Out."

In order to do our part in protecting our congregation, community, and staff during the COVID19 pandemic, most gatherings at EMUMC have been suspended until further notice.  Continue to watch our website and Facebook page as we slowly add programs.
